Shade Stop RV of Floresville is a family-run, locally-owned RV park built around one simple idea: in the South Texas heat, every site should be covered. We're a quiet, gated community on Hwy 97 in Wilson County, built for comfortable monthly and long-term RV living.
Why we built it
Why we built a covered RV park
Anyone who's spent a Texas summer in an RV knows the problem: an uncovered rig bakes from the roof down, the A/C runs nonstop, and the space outside is too hot to use. We wanted to fix that for good — so we built a park where a permanent shade canopy comes standard on every site, over an oversized concrete pad with full hookups and fiber Wi-Fi.
The result is a cooler rig, lower cooling bills, a roof protected from constant UV, and shaded outdoor space you can actually enjoy. It's the kind of place we'd want to park our own family — and that's the standard we hold it to.
